Were you one of the 1,100 individuals that participated in the 2010 survey for The South I-25 Urban Corridor Transportation Management Association (TMA) between February 1st and March 31st? If so, thank you for your feedback! The TMA created the survey to collect information and identify issues pertaining to public transportation and alternate modes of transit. The purpose was to understand why employees do or do not use public transportation and/or alternate transit and what can be improved to encourage the use of both.
You answered and we are listening. With your input and the results of the questions compiled, the TMA plans to use the data to develop and implement new programs and projects to make the Southeast Corridor less congested and more mobile for individuals traveling to and from work. What does that mean for you? A more accessible Corridor will decrease commute times, save money on gas and wear and tear on your vehicle and reduce CO2 emissions by your vehicle, all contributing to the enhancement of air quality and the feeling of doing something beneficial for yourself and the environment. All of this is possible because of your effort in the survey and the TMA’s planned improvements based on the results.
Another advantage in taking the survey was the chance to win one of five Apple iPod touches or an Apple iPad. The winners were chosen at random and six lucky individuals were gifted with some of Apple’s finest. Congratulations to the winners: Don Giancola, Cheri Friedl, Rae Price, Michael Fields, and Claudine Carrera. The Apple iPad recipient was Andrew Kaplan.
