Locating the correct rail line going in the correct direction
Overhead, signs indicate whether the train is heading Northbound or Southbound. Signs on each train indicate the light rail line you are taking, either: C, D, E, F, G or H. The lines are color-coded as well for your convenience.

There are three main lines that serve the South I-25 Urban corridor.
The E line (purple) travels from the Lincoln Avenue Station to Union Station in lower downtown.
The F line (red) travels from the Lincoln Avenue Station through Downtown Denver to the 30th and Downing Station.
The G Line (gold) travels from the Lincoln Avenue Station to the Nine Mile Station in Aurora, along I-225.

How to Board the Light Rail
Stand behind the yellow warning strip. Light rail trains stop at all stations, so there is no need to signal the driver. Once the train has stopped, stand back as the system is automatic and the doors will open. Let other passengers exit the train, and then board.

Ticket Inspection
Fare inspectors circulate through various cars to check for valid tickets. Failure to provide a valid ticket will result in a fine.

Departure
The light rail train will stop at every station along the route. If the doors close before you are able to exit, push the "Open Door" button located on the handrail beside each door.

Transferring to a Bus:
To continue on the bus to reach your final destination, show the driver the validated light rail ticket to board the bus. It is not necessary to purchase another ticket.
